The end of the year always makes me stop to think.
As 2026 approaches, I find myself thinking less about resolutions and more about direction. About what I want to carry forward and what I am ready to leave behind.
Small towns have a way of teaching this. They move at a steady pace. They do not rush change, but they are not afraid of it either. Seasons turn. Doors open and close. Life keeps going.
Heading into a new year, I am choosing to slow down, pay attention, and stay rooted in the things that matter. Community. Stories. The places that shape us.
Sometimes moving forward does not mean doing more. Sometimes it means doing things with more care.
